Grappling is a clinch and ground engagement range of sport and combat. Most of modern grappling techniques come from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, which comes from Judo (randori), which comes from the Japanese combat art of Jiu Jutsu.
Many Fights may go to the ground, best be prepared
You may prefer to not go to the ground for various reasons, such as broken glass or multiple partners, but that is no reason NOT to train your grappling skills! A good grappler can counter take downs easily and throw attackers off balance with proper training.
We teach grappling from the perspective of self defense and how you may need to apply techniques in the street. There are many grappling arts in the world and ours is a hybrid of BJJ, Silat, Buno and Judo.
A brave man, a real fighter is not measured by how many times he falls, but how many times he stands up.
